Learning has always been a passion of mine—I still vividly remember the first time I saw how calculus and physics connect. That curiosity stayed with me throughout my time at Rutgers University, where I minored in Women's and Gender Studies, Public Policy, and Education. After earning my BA in Psychology there, I decided to translate that love of learning into a teaching career in NYC, where I fell in love with the classroom and went on to earn my MA in Teaching.
Being in the classroom was an incredible experience. Working with students from all kinds of backgrounds and abilities in Harlem, I loved helping them find their own "aha!" moments. Beyond teaching itself, I embraced everything that came with it: mentoring seniors through their capstone projects, running after-school tutoring, leading a community service initiative, and advising our campus chapter of the National Honor Society. It was a busy and deeply rewarding chapter of my life.
I'm thrilled to join Vault Prep to focus on 1:1 student mentorship and continue sharing that spark. When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me baking or catching up on the latest crime documentaries and thriller/mystery movies.
