Get Ready to Boost Your SAT Prep!

During the holidays, the College Board announced some highly anticipated news. Starting in February 2025, students will gain access to more targeted practice opportunities, equipping them with essential tools for success.

This update is especially exciting for us at Vault Prep as we have long noted discrepancies between the difficulty level of Sample Digital Tests 1-3 and the actual SAT. Moreover, the availability of official practice materials from the test provider itself is always the gold standard for effective preparation.

Here’s What’s New:

• • New Tests Added: Along with the current Practice Tests 4–6, students will gain access to four additional practice tests. These include:some text
    • A completely new Practice Test 7
    • Practice Tests 8–10, which feature a mix of new questions and select questions from former Practice Tests 1–3
  • Changes to Existing Tests: Practice Tests 1–3 will be removed from Bluebook after February 3, 2025. However, students who complete these tests before the deadline will still retain their practice scores and feedback
  • PDF Versions Available: PDF versions of Practice Tests 7–10 will be uploaded to the College Board website, while PDFs for Practice Tests 1–3 will be removed.

Enhanced Practice Tools:

Students can continue using the new Bluebook practice tests alongside these existing resources:

• • My Practice: Students can log into their accounts to access score reports and detailed feedback from any completed practice test.
  • Student Question Bank (SQB): From their practice test results, students can select "Practice Specific Questions" to create tailored question sets targeting areas for improvement. This ensures personalized, focused practice.
